Rape case after relationship broke up

A relative was in relationship with a lady for 3 years and had physical relation also under the false statements given by the lady that she was married at the age of 13 and her husband died within an year of marriage. But now got know that her husband is alive and not divroced. Lady is threating wit rape case now. What are the options now. My relative is a government employee.will he loose job
Its crucial to apply for Anticipatory bail to avoid arrest and detentions. Since he is govt. Servent there is greater caution to be taken to avoid suspension and departmental enquiries.

if the lady files any case the first thing he can do is apply for anticipatory bail and get it and further if she is still threatening then issue a legal notice and also file a police complaint, further if she files file a petition for quashing of FIR and complaint in high court, he will not loose his job but he should see that he is not arrested and for which he can apply for anticipatory bail.

Dear Sir,
Such false allegations may not stand in the Court. Ask your friend to get anticipatory bail even before filing FIR. If FIR is filed at future date your friend may approach High Court under Section 482 Cr.P.C and get it quashed. In the meanwhile get issue a legal notice to her husband about the activities of his wife etc.
