According to section 374(3) any person convicted on a trial held by judicial magistrate of first class may appeal to the court of session. The period of limitation is 30 days from the date of the sentence or order. For the purpose of appeal there is no other court between the JMFC and the court of session, however the sessions judge may transfer your appeal to an additional sessions judge for hearing.
