Quashing of FIR by High Court In Fraud Criminal Case Filed under

18-Jul-2023 (In Criminal Law)
A person filed police complaint against me and my family under section 420, 419, 120b , He gave me money to invest in stock market, I paid him back half even I had complete loss for which I have statement To pressurise me, he put criminal case so I can come to settlement and even came with police to appear with notice Mostly by his approach and money I have filed quashing of FIR in high court I have few questions - 1) How much time high court takes in such cases of quashing of FIR in general ? 2) How much time high court takes after filling for case and asking for stay in general ? 3) Does high court quashes on hearing pleas, what are chances ? Or it happens mostly in case of compromising and police filing B Report Should I go for settlement or should I wait ? Any suggestion much appreaciated

If the elements of settlement are there then I suggest you for a settlement . if there are no chances then you can seek quashing of the FIR. NEED to know all the facts to understand the case and suggest even more better!

Dear Sir You should not believe quashing petitions. Better see that B Report is filed through police. You can settle the matter by giving blank cheque and thus come out of criminal case otherwise if charge sheet is filed then you have to go to Court for next 4 years. Discuss.
