Purchasing a second hand bike involved in an accident previously

13-Jun-2023 (In Criminal Law)
I am planning to purchase a second hand bike. The owner of the bike has told me it was involved in an accident which led to the death of a lady on the national highway while she was crossing the highway on foot. Can I still buy this bike . Can the police later impound this bike after i have purchased it as an evidence in the case

First my suggestion would be not to purchase the secondhand bike as it was accident with murder case.
In case if the seller is ready to indeminify you from all the case related obligation and if he given in writing you may goahead.
