Punishment for filing a false case against a man for domestic violence

Wanted to know if there is any punishment or fine for a lady if she uses domestic violence act to harass n wrongly take money from boy.
Yes if the case will be proved wrong then the victim of false case can register a FIR against you and you will be also penalise for misleading the court there are several section in IPC by which you will be dealt with.

Hi as per your quiry there is no punishment u/s 12 But if the complainant proove the violation u/s 31 And 31 Then there is imprisonment not more than 6 Months. But this is rairaly prooved. Only domestic violence case filed for maintainace u/s 23, And complainant get maintenance from his husbond as per his earning capasity.
