property in possession for 28 years with no papers

I have this property in possession since 28 years and my father could not make papers, owner is troubling me with the help of a neighbor whose plot does not have road by allowing him to pass through. Police is bribed my complaints are not entertained. Police has forced me to let him go and threatened me to file fake complaints against me. Please advice.
Please search the land records such as 7/12 extract, property card etc and see if any of them are in your or your father's name are you paying the taxes for it such as property tax etc ?? if your neighbor wants easement that is road through your land you can deny it and if he proceeds you can file a complaint in your nearest police station or file a complaint in the court of law. As to police officials if you feel that they are not co-operating you can contact their superiors either orally or by a written letter they will definitely help you.

So, probably file writ petition so as the police is not able to file false cases against you and your family.
And , at the same time, please file civil case to property your possession as well as not to allow the neighbour to use your property and possession to create road or path for access to his property.
You should not allow the neighbour to use your property at all and under any circumstances TILL You file civil case an Drake stay order in your favour and against the owner as well as the neighbour.
