Process to get the recovered stolen bike from PS after filing FOR

Hi, my bike was stolen and i have filed an FIR for it. The police have recovered my bike, what is process to get the bike released from police custody. The bike was recovered in less than a day and it is at the police station now. Can I avoid court proceedings and get my bike released now? The police is asking me to come tomorrow to discuss about proceedings

No you cannot avoid court proceedings. You have to approach the court and file an application for release of property and you need to approach a lawyer and get it done by giving a surety and by an order of the court.
