Procedure to include 307 IPC in the FIR since police did not include

The victim has incurred injuries and beaten by husband intnding death. but police have not included 307 but filed under 323 and 498A. whether the victim can insist the police to include case under 307
If injuries are grievious in nature, these injuries are likely to be cause death, then you can insist the police to include section 307. Based on medical certificate and injuries sustained to the victim police may include 307 at the time of filing of Charge Sheet.
