Procedure to ask judge to keep mother out during evidence by 8 YO

Father from Kolkata was physically assaulted during visit to 4.5 YO child at a town 4 hour away. After discharge from hospital, on visiting PS Father's FIR taken. Was arrested on pocso case on own 4.5 YO daughter. Child gave tutored statement in court. After bail etc trial has started. Child is now 8+. She requesting father during weekly meeting that during her evidence mother should not be present in court room. Can adv make such prayer? Any How? Defending adv saying no. Mother's well connected

yes certainly the father has a strong case to seek for such an arrangement. ask the counsel engaged to make appropriate prayer before the learned court below. if the court dont allow the doors of the high court will always be open. seek advice from high court practicing lawyer. regards, Tanmoy Chattopadhyay, M.Sc (Net), LL.B (University of Delhi), Advocate, Hon'ble High Court, Calcutta.
