Police not file chargesheet even after five months

Fir lodged in September 2024.
But police even now not filed charges sheet in a murder case and 1/3 bns arms act.
Is their any right through court so that police file chargesheet
Yes ofcourse.
An application can be made through your Ld. Counsel before the Jurisdictional Court. The Ld. Court will then order the Officer in Charge of the same police station to submit a report on the next date fixed in regards to the progress of the investigation.
