ploice charge only 107/116 only we want criminal needs to be punished

We attempted to file an FIR against a family that is constantly harassing my elderly parents, who are retired from the Indian Army and unable to defend themselves. The opposing party consists of 12 people who continuously provoke and harass my parents. Since we live far away due to work, we sought help from the police. However, they only charged the family under two sections of the CrPC, 107 and 116.We are requesting the police take stricter action, as this is a case of harassment

Ur parents are senior Citizens as well as ex service men .There us a provision for protection of Senior Citizens under the Protection of Senior Citizens Act 2007 .The district collector and Superintendent of police are dutuly bound to provide protection to any senior citizen/s directing the local police station to take action and protect the life and property of the senior Citizens. After every 15 days a senior officer of local police station has to confirm about the security of senior Citizens and local NGO is also appointed for ensuring their safety. One has to file a writ petition in High court for necessary direction under a writ of mandamus. The high court will intervene in the matter.
