Person Is Not Giving Back Money Which Was Lend By My Mother

3 years back my mother had lend money to a lady and now she is not giving it back when my other asked for they money she and her husband started threatening that they will commit suicide or go to the police what should I do now?
i woild advise you to first send a legal notice to the borrower demanding the money. if you have an agreement or other document, you have a good case for recovery. if there's no document, you can still demand it but it becomes a bit tricky then.

And if she failed to return money then file civil recovery suit against her in court. If she blaming you for committing suicide then you can contact to Police Station stating your facts thereby police can be aware of facts.
