Hi
Thanks for asking me. If your patient avoiding fees while u giving treatments she denies to pay then send her legal notice / email for recovery of dues . And if she refused to do that then u may take legal action and also filed complaint of defamation if patient using false & filthy language against u n your profession.

Despite giving good and proper service a doctor can make claim on person for loss of service or loss caused to his reputation in service as per medical practitioners Act.
Because as per the Act registered practitioners has right to practice his class of professional and also an fundamental right to practice an constitutional right too.
Or can file for mischiefous act of defamation of a person for causing enemity and heat against a person in class of public or for creating rivalry revenge full act.
As per respective Act of laws.

Defamation is both civil and criminal offence. The remedy for a civil defamation is covered under the Law of Torts. In a civil defamation case, a person who is defamed can move either high court or subordinate courts and seek damages in the form of monetary compensation from the accused. The Indian penal Code, 1860 provides an opportunity for the defamed person to file a criminal case against the accused. Under sections 499 and 500 of the IPC, a person guilty of criminal defamation can be sent to jail for two years.
