Hi,
My wife had filed a 498a and 307 case against me and my family members . My passport is expired , Can i renew it ? If so should i mention the case details on application. Note that its been more than 120 days FIR ,no charge-sheet filed yet. Also i dont want to include wife name on passport . Is there any legal remedy like obtaining court permission. If so how much will be charges. Also can you let me know if there is a punishment for lying on passport application.
Dear Sir,
You must seek a direction from the High Court to get your passport renewed or get stay order on FIR or quash order on FIR. You may approach an eminent advocate who is practicing on criminal side in High Court and you will get definitely a favorable order so that you can renew your passport.
