Since the work done by him was not satisfactory or as per the standard you required. You had every right in terminating his services. Now as far as his threats are concerned you can write a criminal complaint against him through a qualified advocate through Law Rato to get a complaint or F.I.R. registered against him for this. Since the threats extended seems to be serious in nature , You file the complaint in the local p.s. at the earliest so as to prevent him from repeating or attempting from any untoward incident. You can contact us through Law Rato for better assistance in this matter.

Dear Questioner
As per your above version , the act of above said painter comes in definition of the offence of criminal intimidation you can submit your complain about criminal intimidation against the said painter however if you want to proper relief against above said painter u will have to file criminal complain under section 200 of Cr.pc in the Concern Court because police authority has no power in such offence to arrest . there is also other remedy in civil law u can file civil suit for permanent injunction against above said painter so that in future he will be stopped to enter in your house without your permission.

Don't fear it may b false and fake threaten by him.
First he can't do this kind of drama etc.
2nd you installed a cctv camera inside and outside your home.
If he comes and threat you then go police station and make a written complaint against him.

You can give a written complaint in p.s. if you r sure that he will come again at your home.
