Paid for escort provider but never used the services

In the heat of the moment I had paid an escort provider but I have never used their services nor do I ever intend to do so. Can I be held liable for criminal charges?

भारतीय दंड संहिता (IPC) की धारा 420, धोखाधड़ी और बेईमानी से जुड़े अपराधों से संबंधित है. इस धारा के तहत, अगर कोई व्यक्ति किसी को धोखा देकर उसे किसी संपत्ति को सौंपने के लिए प्रेरित करता है, या किसी मूल्यवान प्रतिभूति या हस्ताक्षरित या सीलबंद वस्तु को बनाने, बदलने या नष्ट करने के लिए उकसाता है, तो उस पर इस धारा के तहत मुकदमा दर्ज किया जा सकता है. इस धारा के तहत दोषी पाए जाने वाले व्यक्ति को सात साल तक की जेल और जुर्माना हो सकता
