Our advocate is filing false petitions on our behalf

We found that our advocate is putting his signature and submitting the petitions. What legal action could we take against him . What is the punishment he is likely to get?

Generally whilst engaging a lawyer, you file a vakalat which is an authorisation for your advocate to sign papers on your behalf.
However an advocate in accordance to advocate rules cannot act in interest of his client. An advocate needs to take regular brief's from his client prior to submission of petition.
please inform your lawyer politely to consult you. Or else, cancel your advocate's appointment and take his No Objection certificate.
