On Sai apartment, near SBI ATM, Mharal Gaon Kalyan

12-Aug-2024 (In Criminal Law)
My father's phone was stolen from my house and when I went to register an FIR the police officer refused to file the same and asked to bring my father for registration of complaint since it was his phone, she also behaved very badly with me. I want to register two complaints one for the theft and the other against that police officer for misbehaving and not taking my complaintml

You must take a written complaint with you to the police station and submit the same in dispatch department of the police station. Take an acknowledgement stamp on a copy of the complaint, and keep it with you. If police still does not take action on your complaint, then file a complaint before the Magistrate Court u/s. 156(3) of CRPC. I suggest that taking action against the police for misbehaviour at this stage will only demerit the investigation process in your case in future.
