When the FIR has been lodged by you is what has to be seen. The time for filing of chargesheet is 90 days. It is to be acertained on what basis you are saying that police has not doing investigation. In any event you have legal remedy to apprise this to Hon'ble Court by moving an appropriate application. For further assistance do let me know the complete facts.

Hello,
You can file a petition before the concerned magistrate having jurisdiction over the police station and make a prayer for calling for a report on the progress of investigation.
If that be so, a paucity will be crept mind that whether there is an implied power in the Magistrate under Section 156(3) Cr.P.C. to order registration of a criminal offence and /or to direct the officer in charge of the concerned police station to hold a proper investigation and take all such necessary steps that may be necessary for ensuring a proper investigation including monitoring the same or not.

There are so many things to know about your case, as you are saying there is no such investigation has been done? And his bail is dismissed? The procedure has been changed for last two-three years and to arrest the accused in such case Investigation Officer needs to seek permission of DCP and fifteen days notice prior to given. I need to know more about your case for better assistance, feel free to contact me here.
