Today my neighbour complained that, his hens died because of what i did (spreading poison). Even though i spread in my own outdoor land is it illegal?. Can he file a complaint against me? Please do needful, Thanking you

hi you will be held liable for mischief under criminal procedure code and held for vicarious liability under civil code. though you spread fertiliser in your land, if the poison has travelled over air/water (atmosphere) and inhaled by his hens, you are liable under law.
