neighbour gives threatening of killing

A neighbour of me always threat to attack me(Saying tumko chorenge nahi mardenge).This time i managed a video in which he tried to attack me with stamp.I was talking with him politely but he was ready to attack me.If other neighbors did not come in between he might killed me. 1)Can i file a case of attempt to kill. 2)Can this recording video will be help as a evidence 3)How this video help me in future if he attacked me. Please give your valuable reply. Thank u
Yes it will be helpful but after lot of assurances needs to be done, but before lodging such complaints you need to be fully prepared otherwise it can go against you too. A lot of homework needs to be done, before making any kind of complaint for your safety
