My landlord had stopped water supply from borewell.

I rent my flat back 2 years in the year 2020 from the date of purchase water supply was very good all of a sudden my landlord is asking for huge amount of money to fix a borewell in the building area as we dined to give money so they stopped the water supply. Can you please suggest that can I take any other action in regards to this against my landlord or should I provide the money he is charging all of a sudden.?

no one can stop water supply to you. but at the same time if you want to settle the matter with your landlord amicably then you can do that way either because pursuing legal remedies would also cost you. regards, Tanmoy Chattopadhyay, M.Sc (Met), LL.B (Delhi), Advocate, High Court, Calcutta
