My father was died on 16 January of2008.i get death certificate from g

2008.and i recive death certificate manual copy,after one year I apply for online certificate copy, when I receive online death certificate that date of death is different, 21 January 2008.i asked to ghmc officers about this mistake, he checked into records and asked to me who is obaid ullah?I said he is my step brother, officers said he done this corrections, I asked to officers can you do this kind of correction? he said to me all of you will go to jail or we will go to jail,what should I do?

We can issue a legal notice to GHMC. It will seek the original death record. The correction file and supporting documents will be requested. The authority for alteration will also be sought. Further action can be taken after verification.

You can reply: Please share the original death certificate and the present online certificate, along with any details of the correction made by GHMC. Once we verify when, how and by whom the date was altered, we can advise you on the appropriate legal action.
