Money Fraudulent - What can do even police also not helpful? Without

I am from Chennai. My father has given Rs. 2 Lakh to one of the local individual person(in native). After few months my father passed away and so i went to him asked our money. He said he will give with in one week and i asked to provide written proof and he said he is planning to give back money with in a week and so written not required. I confirmed it with our Village Heads for the amount with him and asked him to give the amount with them since he used very bad words too. what can do at this

hi Felix here, I can well understand your concern from the query raised, you can send a legal notice to him demanding money and in the event of him not returning the money you can file a civil suit, claiming for the money back, thank you, you can contact me for further clarifications
