Mental and physical torture by husband frequently, abusing me, threats

HelloMy husband tortures me mentally often, he abuses with teriible words to me and my family. He asks the money spent in marriage was more so just give me back my money. He does not spent anything on me, fortunately i am working women. He does domestic violence with me because he wants divorce, he creates conditions for me so that i leave him and he can marry another women. Of course when he is abusing me, my family and doing domestic violence, i dont want to stay with him anymore and divorce him. But i need right direction, when someone is forcing to get divorced, how can i take this to court and shall i go for a contested divorce?

you can logged FIR against your husband .ipc 498a, 323, 294b, dowy section, as well as you can filed application of domestic violence at megistrate court. according to law If a woman has been harassed for dowry or threatened for the same, before, during or after marriage, her husband, his family or in-laws can be subjected to punishment under the dowry act, 498a (in case her life has been threatened.
