Loan harasment from a fake loan app which i did not applied atall

I did not applied for any loan but they message me in whatsapp with my photo morphed already and said they will share this with all my contacts. And they are harasing me for repayment which i did not took from any app. I already register a case in cybercrime but still iam worried about my photos. What should i do now ?

You have taken the right first step by filing a cyber crime complaint . Immediately report the WhatsApp number to the platform as abuse and block it. Preserve all chats, screenshots and evidence . File a police FIR under sections related to impersonation. you can also approach the lawyer injection preventing miss use of your photos cake with or pay the scammers .

This is a case of cyber extortion, identity theft, and criminal intimidation under IPC Sections 384, 503, 509, and IT Act Sections 66C, 66D. Since you’ve already filed a cybercrime complaint, immediately submit all messages, screenshots, and numbers to the investigating officer and request urgent action under Sec. 156(3) CrPC if no progress. Inform your contacts about possible misuse to reduce impact.
