Lawyer forges client signatures and files wrong cases
14-Jun-2023 (In Criminal Law)
I had visited a lawyer A to file a partition suit he instead filed injunction suit with my forged signatures. He also got his friend B file another injunction suit with my Brother's forged signatures when the first case did not help get him injunction. My brother & I filed 340 CRPC applications in both cases and filed a complaint with Bar Council. In response lawyer B accepts his signature to be in the vakalath but denies all other signature and has shifted all misdeeds to another person X who was actually assistant of the lawyer A but B states that this person X is a freelancer and that we hired X to play mischief. nnMy questions:n1. Now that B has accepted that he has signed vakalath, is there any law, section under which he can be held liable? If Yes any Judgements?n2. Since B is trying to save A from all the misdeeds, does he become a co conspirator?n3. If I manage to show a connection between A & X then can B be tried for Perjury?nnThanks.
