Laptop lost , I have the photo of the thief

I lost my laptop in Max Hospital Patpargunj Delhi OPD Area .
The CCTV camera recorded the act .
I filled an Information Report online with Delhi Police and have a copy of the report
I have an Information Report and photo of the thief , while the police will do its job I'm sure , can I circulate these 2 things on social media to track this person ? Also use the 2 things to goto shops in nehru place where sale of such items happen ?
Is it ok to distribute the photo of the theif this way ?
It’s not advisable for you to do anything…it’s now the work of the police officials. Since you have already filed a FIR under section 379 IPC let the police track the thief. What you can do is just assist your investigation officer.
