Judge gave a date after 1 year of hearing, under section 302 IPC

Sir, I have been falsely implicated in 302 offense on 22-12-2014. At present my case is at the final oral arguments by my advocate stage. My advocate already filed written arguments on 28-04-2017 after completion of trial & 313 examination. Later on the APP also completed his arguments on 05-09-2017 and the judge called my advocate to hear final oral arguments by my advocate. But surprisingly, the concerned judge informed my advocate that as per high court of A. P order my case would be probably on next year coming March. So what shall I do at this stage? please suggest me.

As the judge informed your advocate that your case be finally heard in the next year March, then definitely there has been specific directions from the High Court to the judge concerned. It is your advocate who can answer your query better as he will be knowing about the directions of the High Court. Consult your advocate.

In general once arguments are complete the judge has to give the order within 30 days from date of argument.
Also there is no order from High court to delay criminal cases.
What the high court has said is to give priority to old(pre 2012) cases.
So in your case since the PP has completed his arguments on 05-09-2017, it is the turn of your advocate to present his argument and your advocate has to present his argument whenever the matter is listed (your case should be listed within30 days from the date of PP arguments)
