Judge asked to withdraw writ petition filed for FIR quashing in 376 ma

What can be done now? We both parties have decided to settle this matter 376 amicably and went to court with the same thing but we were asked to withdraw petition..

Well, if the Court is saying to withdraw the Petition, then, it means, Court is giving the Chance to Complainant to settle the case with opposite party on the decision made by you guys mutually to settle the case with each other consensually

You may approach the high court with a quashing petition under 483. The Petition would be accommodated with an affidavit of the complainant. The procedure and method would depend on the offence and the compoundability of the same.
