Job issue due to FIR registered

Sir a person has charged fir against me for injuring his head and I have been selected for income tax department. Will there be any problem in police verification
In normal case there should be not much problem. In law an accused is presumed to be innocent till proved guilty. Mere pendency of criminal case against you should not be a problem for joining.
But think whether in your application for job, have you given incorrect answer about pendency of criminal case against you? Have you suppressed that fact in your application and still signed the application with the statement that whatever information you disclosed in the application is true? Is there any such a situation? If no, then no worry.
If yes, then though there may not be a problem at the time of joining, but in there may be a problem in future on exposure of that fact to the Master / Employer. It may result in termination.
