Job Fraud (Offline) by the job consultancy

15-Jan-2023 (In Criminal Law)
A job consultancy has approached us, lured a job in big MNC company by charging a hefty amount. So i paid amount, but they have deceived me, with reputed MNC's forged/ faked appointment letters. After knowing the legality of appointment letters, we came to know that we got cheated by the consultancy. We have approached police station, and booked an FIR against them. After FIR has been lodged, the accused had signed an agreement in presence of police SI in the police station, including interest on amount (I paid to them). But they have failed to fulfill the agreement with in stipulated time, hence agreement got forefieted. From then, Police has not taken any action against the accused and also denied to get an arrest warrant for the accused. As FIR lodged has crossed 90 days period, the police haven't filed any charge sheet. So police have suggested us to get an arrest warrant from the court. What should i do now, to recover my amount ? Please suggest me the required steps to proceed.

hi if the Police are not filing charge sheet then you could write a representation to the higher officials and if they are not filing then you could approach court and also if you had payment proofs then you could file suit for recovery of money against them
