Is substitution in criminal cases valid in case of death of informant?

At the stage of charge Informant of case is died.Can his legal heir give me power to file Vakalatnama in this case.If yes then in which provision?

Why not you accept wakalatnama from the legal hairs of informant. In this regard I refer section 302 of Cr.p.c. ..There is provision in law if the informant of the case is died then legal heirs of the informant give wakalatnama for pleading the case with apo

Yes it can be. The cardinal principal behind this is that what the informent had said or produced evidence regarding crime ,has continued to be said and produced evidence and if he died he can be substituted by his legal heirs. Go through Cr. P . C. and Appear Court judgement.
