Is it possible to file quash petition thru lawyer when i am in abroad?

False FIR has been filed against me and my family under 498A and 506 (1) when I am in abroad. I already filed HMOP petition to the family court before the FIR date. We got AB for my parents since they are there but not for me. Is there any way to file Quash petition on behalf of me or my parents can do on behalf since I cannot travel to India now due to COVID situation also don't want to keep this Fake FIR alive. Kindly Help. TIA
