Is Body to Body Massage Legal in India?

Hi, I want to know if body massage from a female therapist is legal or not. What happens when caught red-handed while having a body massage from a female therapist (not prostitution) but in an illegal parlour? We would not know if the parlour is licensed or not.

Body massage in a spa from a female therapist is legal in India if:
  • The spa is licensed and follows government regulations.

If the spa is illegal, authorities can take legal action against it. However, just receiving a body massage from a female therapist is not illegal, provided it follows the rules and regulations.

It is legal for a female therapist to give a massage to a male client in India. However, if the massage parlour is suspected of illegal activities, authorities may raid and investigate.

If you were caught in such a parlour, it would be your responsibility to prove that no illegal act took place.
