Can i go to these way
Below are the process to close a FIR or quashe it .
1) you can submit affidavit If the case is on investigation stage only and chargesheet is not submitted then the police can submit final report /closure report ,However if it refuses tondonso then mutual quashing is possible fron high court .
2) you can file for mutual quashing of FIR in the High Court.

Yes FIR can be quashed by entering into a mutual settlement deed and it can be shown before the HC to get the said FIR quashed. If there is a FIR that has been registered then it can only be quashed by the HC.

Every person against whom criminal cases have bern filed have the right to get it relieved from the court by entering into mutual settlement between the parties i.e. the complainant and the accused. You can enter into a settlement and then go to High Court for quashing.
