IO not appearing before the court

hey , i'm being alleged in SC/ST atrocities prevention act my case started in 2020 but in APRIL 2022 both the parties settled the matter and compromised but since then the matter is waiting for the IO to come . since 4 months i have been only waiting for the IO and he is not coming to the court. what should be done now to end the case as soon as possible ?

You should take a direction from the high court ,by filling the latest order sheets of the trial court where it is specifically mentioned that IO is not appearing continuously . The high court will direct the trial court to finish the trial in time bound period .The trial court will direct the senior police authorities to make the presence compulsory for evidence or else it can initiate warrant also against the IO.

Hi, I would have to look at the FIR - what exactly are the allegations and then only I can comment. We can get the case dismissed by default as the IO is not appearing in the matter. Please reach out if you need any assistance.
