Interest free Loan not repaying since 2 years

My friend taken a interest free loan of 2 lakhs from me for 3 months. But not returning it since 2 years. Kindly suggest. Already given legal notice. But he did not reply.

you can file a case of criminal breach of trust and also cheating against the person. has he replied to your legal notice? if not then his intentions are malafide and this is proof enough again him to prosecute him.

File a Money Suit. A Suit for recovery of money is a civil relief and acts as an effective remedy to recover money from the delinquent. The suit can be filed under Order IV of the Code of Civil Procedure 1908 (CPC).
