I was cheated by my cousin he claims that i was partner in his firm

My cousin was running a local chit fund company and i was working there as an agent but i have signed the payment receipt but the proprietor is his father. Now as an agent I have took the amount from local public now company is unable to pay promised amount and local people are threatening me and my family and claiming I was the partner in that company but there is no proof or agreement that proves that i was the partner. How can i save my self and my family.

The way to save yourself and your family is to give a message to the people that you are not involved with your brother and you are yourself a victim. Take necessary legal actions against your brother. Register a police complaint against your brother or drag him to the court where the court will decide his guilt and your innocence.
