I my brother in-law daughter marriage 2 people slapped me with out any reason in front of all guest as my brother in-law has borrowed money not returning after repated request I have filled NCR on both person can I convert NCrR to FIR what is the time limit I have done medical report MLC how much lawyer fees can be if should I get justice and punish them nex time they should not repat

Dear Sir, When NCR can be converted to FIR: If the offence becomes cognizable based on new evidence (e.g., medical report/MLC showing injuries). If the incident involves assault causing hurt under Sections like 323, 324, 325 IPC — these can be cognizable depending on severity. If the accused repeat the threats or assault (continuing offence). If a Magistrate orders police to register FIR under Section 156(3) CrPC. Your MLC (medical report) is important— If the doctor has noted injuries, this can legally support converting NCR into an FIR.

you can file a private complaint before court by seeking the permission register of NCR as FIR after that court can issue an order to police register FIR against them. there after they can appear before the police station and conduct an enquiry etc it will be charged in Puttur rupees 5000.
