i have been arrested and jailed for a week and my case settled in loka

I have been arrested for cyber chesting, it so happened that i used one of my friends debit card in jan 2017 and she has filed a case against me in august 2018, i have asked the police for warrant and made a lot of legal questions because of which they got frustrated and filed a 420 against me though i understand that my crime only included 424 because there was no property or any word or any document involved, it only says that they gave me the debit but i have used it unauthorized, though AP high court and Supreme Court of India has clearly judged not to publish photos of accused they have made my photo published not just in the district edition but all over the state edition, i am looking to file a defamation against the news papers and police because they did not make any thorough investigation before filing the case, they have stated that they found evidence in my phone but the phone i was using at the time of arrest has been released in march 2018, can i make this case.
