I had a fight with someone in college

I had a small fight with someone in my college and he flied an FIR against me under IPC 341,323,294,506 and 34. There was no further proceedings in the case apart from a call from the SI after 4 months of FIR and it has been 4 years. Is the FIR quashed or will that be still investigated.

The FIR against you has not been automatically quashed simply due to the passage of time. In India, there is no specific statutory time limit for filing a petition to quash an FIR under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code,However, if you wish to quash the FIR, it is advisable to do so as soon as possible.
