How to withdraw the case of 498A

My husband and I am into agreement now. I want to withdraw 498A filed in Ultadanga PS. How much would it cost me ? If I do not withdraw, will it be dismissed on its own ?
Once the criminal case is filed, it is the State who proceed against the accused persons, hence you being the defacto complainant if do not proceed, the state itself shall proceed with the criminal case invariably, in that event, the relation between you two may again deteriorate, hence in such cases the easiest way to get rid of the same is that the husband shall file a case for quashing of criminal case before The Hon'ble High Court and the wife shall appear through the Advocate and shall file a compromise petition thereof and the case would be quashed or cancelled immediately.
