How to get case dismissed

I had filed an FIR for a stolen phone, 8 months back the police found the phone and the theif. now the trial is going on in the court, the court first sent a summon to appear in the court as a witness to me which was received by my family in India but I could not go as I am abroad for highter studies and might return after 2-3 years, After that court issued a bailable warrant but I still could not and now they are issuing it again what should I do now, will I have to come back and what if I keep skipping the dates I want the case to be dismissed ,I don't want the accused to go to jail, tell me the way so that I don't have to go to the court and case should be dismissed. what will they do I never come back?

Sir if you want to settal your case and dont want the accused to go to jail.you should not appear in court .after some time court accqutt the accused on the basic of benefit doubt or if you want appear in court you should compromise with the accused with the permission of the court after that accused will accqutt .
