How can I help my maid when she is being falsely accused of theft ?

20-Dec-2023 (In Criminal Law)
A maid has been accused of stealing Rs.5lakhs in cash . Although the case was registered last year during December 2016 and case was closed n ruled in the favour of our maid. She had been serving us and many other houses in the locality from last 20years and everyone know that she cannot commit the crime. But complainant have again logged a case against the maid even though she had been proved innocent. Those people are deliberately accusing her to make her life miserable or they might be doing this to avail her services for free. So what can be done in this case when an innocent has been dragged to court twice without any proof at all?

No person can falsely implicate any other person. If he does so he is guilty of malicious prosecution and a person acquitted can initiate criminal as well as civil proceedings against that person. Certainly legal process takes it's course. He can be prosecuted for malicious prosecution and a civil suit for damages can also be filed. She will certainly succeed

dear questioner, there can be appeal in such matter if the complainant is not satisfied with the verdict,he has the right to go in appeal but there is no rule to register a subsequent FIR,once the verdict has come.
they can make a further approach to courts to reopen the case only if they have strong evidence to prove the guilt of that person.otherwise, not a single chance is there.
however,if you wanna be sure that proceedings are true or what? kindly, confirm the status from the e courts site of your city.
