How can I complain against my mother in law for mental harassment?

my husband and mother in law always abuses through words for eg when i dont get up early and also for not doing any household works,this contunued during my pregnancy and some how i delevered a baby as they did nt supported me at all during my pregnancy not 100% but they supported by giving 25000 rs during pregnancy....i.e after a long conflict .now my husband is not looking after my son and me ..now i am in mom place.

As per your problem mentioned above i would like to ask you first thing that, whether you like to live with your husband now or not if not then you can file criminal case under section 125 Criminal procedure code in the court for maintenance. and also can file case in the court under section 498 (A) Indian Penal Code for mental harassment. and if still you want to continue your marital relationship with your husband still you can file criminal case against your husband, mother in law or other persons who are abuses you. here you decide first what type of relief you want. if you need further assistance you may contact me. You hv a choice to file matter in family court or in criminal court for maintainance and other reliefs . Its upon you what to choose. If you wanted maintainance then file case for Domestic violence Act and if you wanted to reside with them then you file an petition for restitution of conjugal rights as per Hindu Law.
