Hi I had brought a car from a dealer for 1.55 lacs and the dealer has sold the same car to some other navy officer for 1.80 now my car is seized by Mumbai police how can I get it back and the car is not registered on my name is still on the previous owner name

If you have purchased a car than you must have documents or any paper work while purchase thay car.. You can also use your money transfer statement.. If you have sufficient record with respect to purchase of that car.. You can recover the amount you have handed over to car seller.

you cannot take back that car without the consent of previous owner.The person whose name is registered with RTO can claim from police.It was your duty without transfer you have taken possession of car from that person.
