Govt employee filed a false criminal case on daughter and son-inlaw

Dear sir, my wife's father is govt employee asst engineer in pwd who filed a false criminal case on me and my wife, and he has influence of DSP crime branch who is his relative, and 1 year over no action taken by police, and they told case is false so we will not file a charge sheet on this case and they told we wil do it as a b false case. the cae is still pending in court. so what can i do now.
On the basis of the information providee by you. It is my humble opinion that you file a case of quashing of FIR under Section 482 and get the FIR quashed. The onus is on you to prove that there is no basis of the pending ongoing criminal case against you. If successful the case will be quashed.The police (prosecution) will have to preswnt substantial evidence to prevent the quashing.

At first how would u know that the case was filed against u.if the case was started then collect reference no and section. And dated.. If the case was false the investigation officer may snd u one notice that u/s-41of cr. PC. And gv the prayer for ur bail.
