It is advised to take your girlfriend for counselling sessions under a psychiatrist. However, legally speaking section 389 of Indian Penal Code, talks about putting a person in fear of accusation of offence to commit extortion. In your case, your girlfriend is blackmailing by stating that she will end her life and put the blame on you, this is a clear case of a potential abetment to suicide punishable for upto 10 years under section 306 of Indian Penal Code.
One of the ways to tackle this situation is to file a police complaint against your girlfriend for putting you in fear of accusation of an offence. The Complaint filed before the police shall act as a safeguard against any drastic situation that could arise later on.

It's been 8 months since I have been in a relationship with my girlfriend but after seeing her behaviour I don't want to continue with her. But after making her understand that I don't love her anymore and asking her to find her own path. we haven't been physical with each other. Now every time when I say I want to quit she blackmails me by saying that she will end her life and put the blame on me. As I am very much disturbed due to her behaviour and she doesn't allow me to do my work. She is adamant that even if I don't love her she wants me. Please suggest what should I be doing to get rid of her and I can move on with my life.
