Fraud Case Notice Sent To Me By A Jeweller.

15-Oct-2023 (In Criminal Law)
I had transaction of money with Jeweller shop owner. For the security of money I had given him blank cheque . we are done of giving and taking of money. Now he has sent me legal notice that I had purchased silver from his shop and given cheque instead of cash. The cheque which I had given in name of security for money transactions is been misused here. Need to reply to notice within 10 days. Best possible advice needed here. According to shop owner he has still not received full money from me which I had taken and that is the reason he has made silver purchasing story. Our money transaction were not written anywhere. It is the interest money that he is asking for.

As per consumer protection ACT sale is nothing but money or amount paid or promised to be paid or partly paid or partly promised to be paid it also includes terms and conditions agreed before the transaction of sale of goods
Therefore appoint an advocate to seek your remedy.

Appoint a lawyer and mention him the real facts of the transaction and you will need to send the notice within 15 days from the date of receipt of notice from your end. If he has taken advantage then don't worry you will win the case if filed under NI act.
